Mother speaks out after attack

A Massachusetts mother is speaking out after her three children and their friend were attacked by a man at a movie theater on Saturday.

Lisa Dembowski's three daughters and their friend were stabbed by a man at the AMC Braintree 10 movie theater around 6 p.m. Speaking to NBC Boston, Dembowski, a guidance counselor at the high school, spoke about the incident's impact on her children.

“I think the younger two are handling it a little better, I think. The older one is very protective of them and she's just more worried in general about them and how they're going to be,” the mother said. “I think he’s a pretty sick person to be harming children,” she added. Braintree police said a man entered the establishment, walked past the ticket window and entered one of the theaters, according to The Patriot Ledger, part of USA TODAY. Network. Inside, he approached four girls aged 9 to 17.
