Moreno Valley Man Arrested for Alleged Murder, Felony Evading

A Moreno Valley man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of killing a man in Perris and leading deputies on a pursuit.

Deputies responded to the 1600 block of north Perris Boulevard after a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at around 12:15 am Sunday, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

They located a man suffering from gunshot injuries and began life-saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene, the department said.
