An investigation was launched in March after a parent found videos of children being sexually abused on her daughter's phone, police said. The images were texted to a “Tyler,” who authorities said they later identified as Degiacomo.

Police executed multiple search warrants and used digital forensic examinations to uncover Degiacomo's crimes.

Degiacomo used social media apps like TikTok and SnapChat to make initial contact with his victims, police said.

Two of the children are from Montgomery County, who Degiacomo sexually abused and created videos with, according to authorities.

A third victim is from Clarion County in western Pennsylvania. Police said Degiacomo sent money to that child to trick the victim into sending him child sexual abuse material.

The fourth victim, from Houston County, Alabama, was forced by Degiacomo to send him videos, according to authorities.

Degiacomo was arraigned on June 1 and charged with trafficking of minors, unlawful contact with a minor, sexual abuse of children, possession of child pornography, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors and related charges.

Bail was set at $500,000 and he was booked into the Montgomery County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing is set for June 11.

An investigation is underway and police believe there may be other victims. If you have any information, contact Detective Stephen Craig at (215) 836-1601, ext. 1232.
