Modesto's stab kills one; suspect arrested

(FOX40.COM) — A man was killed Saturday night after being stabbed during a fight in Stanislaus County, according to the Modesto Police Department.

Police said the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. on Trenary Way, about a mile west of George Rogers Park.


When police arrived at the scene, they said they found two men with stab wounds. Abraham Terrones-Linares, 27, was immediately transported to the hospital where medical staff pronounced him dead from his injuries.

The other man at the scene, Abel Camarillo, 33, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries before being arrested and charged with homicide, police said.

“The details of what led to this incident are currently under investigation,” Modesto police said.
