Peel Regional Police said they began investigating a report in May of a woman who was allegedly being trafficked over a period of time.

Cops say the suspect created online ads, exercised control over aspects of the alleged victim's life and profited financially.

MOTORCYCLIST DEAD IN HAMILTON

Hamilton police say an 18-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a bus Wednesday evening.

Cops said a northbound bus was turning left from Upper James Street towards the Hamilton Street Railway bus terminal around 8.15pm when it was hit by a southbound motorbike. The motorcyclist died instantly.

The 61-year-old bus driver was not injured and there were no passengers on the bus at the time.
