Missing woman last seen on Chicago's Far South Side

CHICAGO — Police are asking for help searching for a woman who has been missing for nearly a week.

According to Chicago police, Kimberly Howard, 48, who suffers from schizophrenia, has been missing since Wednesday, May 22.


Officers say Howard was last seen on the Far South Side in the 900 block of West 103rd Street in Washington Heights.

Howard, who is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. She is also known for having a tattoo on her right calf that says “LIL BIT.”

Police said the missing woman was last seen wearing a black beanie, blue t-shirt, brown pants and white sneakers. She was also seen carrying a black plastic bag.

Authorities informed the public of the missing woman's disappearance in a press release Sunday afternoon.
