A missing teenager who left a note on her pillow saying “it's goodbye for a long time” has been found after a four-day search.

Geneva Hodge, 17, disappeared from her home in Bellville, Texas, early Wednesday morning after an older man convinced her to run away with him.

Her mother, Frances Schrader, discovered the note hours later and feared she had been kidnapped by human traffickers after Geneva was spotted with the man.

Finally, on Sunday morning, she received a call from a stranger who had found Geneva and gotten Shrader's number from a flyer.

She drove 63 miles to Spring, Texas, and picked up her daughter, who she said was in good health.

After four days of frantic searching, Geneva Hodge found her distraught family.

” She is fine. She slept for a while today,” she told DailyMail.com.

“We just had a prayer at home. About 50 people came with roses.

“I’m so relieved I haven’t smiled since Wednesday. Everyone said I was glowing today.

“We are so grateful to everyone who has shared our story and our prayers.”

Schrader said she is still piecing together what happened to her daughter during the four days she was missing.

The teenager left a note on her pillow telling her mother “this will be the last time you hear from me for a very long time” and then left her. Bellville, Texasat home Wednesday morning.

She told DailyMail.com that discovering the scribbled letter had “completely broken her heart”.

“I felt like my heart had been ripped out of my chest,” she said.

Her mother, Frances Schrader, discovered the note that morning and has not heard from Geneva since, fearing she had been kidnapped.

Schrader shared the note with DailyMail.com and said it was nothing like his daughter, who was excited about her final year of school.

“Dear mother, I love you very much and I know that my departure will kill you. I'm doing well! It was no one’s decision but mine,” it read.

“I’m going to take online classes and finish everything. I'm with people I trust a lot.

“I will always be your little girl. I grew up and became this incredible young woman. Don't forget mom, I love you so much!!

“It’s goodbye for a long time!” I'm sorry. Goodbye mom, I love you! My love, Geneva.

Schrader discovered the note that morning and has not heard from her since, and fears she may have been kidnapped.

Schrader said her daughter was a “good kid” who had never done anything like this before.

Schrader said Geneva factory reset his phone, removed the SIM card, put it in another phone case and hid it in a drawer with other old phones.

Geneva had purchased a new phone case from Five Below during a recent girls' shopping trip with her brother's fiancée.

She left without clothes, without medication, without her asthma inhaler, or even without a toothbrush, and her debit card had not been used since her disappearance.

Schrader said she was so worried that she had barely eaten or slept since Geneva disappeared.

Schrader had made an emotional plea in a Facebook post for his daughter to come home.

“I’m so worried about her. I love my girlfriend. Everyone is worried about you Geneva. Please call mom. I’ll come get you,” she wrote.

'I miss you and I love you very much. You are my little girl and I want you to come home.

In an update on Facebook, Bellville police confirmed that Geneva had returned home.

Reunited with family,” the update said.
