Missing Michigan Teen Spotted By Brother On Twitch Stream In Miami

A Michigan boy who went missing in May was reportedly spotted on an influencer's livestream in Miami — the first time he's been seen in weeks.

Troy Coleman, 17, was last seen in Mt. Morris Township, Michigan, on May 17, his father Weston Coleman told Townsquare Media shortly after he went missing.

The missing teenager's father said he was unarmed and posed no danger to anyone. However, he was suffering from hallucinations and needed medication that he did not have with him.

Several possible sightings of the teen were reported in May, including one of a person resembling Troy seen at a car show outside Flint, Michigan. None of the previous reports have been confirmed.

News that the missing teen was spotted last week 1,200 miles away in South Florida was shared by streamer FaZe Lacy on Wednesday after Troy's brother reportedly emailed the streamer saying he believed Troy had randomly appeared in a live video.

The brother, who identified himself as Trent Coleman in the post shared by Lacy, said police were previously investigating whether Troy was dead.

“Yesterday on live he came up to me and Clix and now his family knows he’s alive and in Miami. I wasn’t sure if I should go public with this but I hope it helps his family somehow find him,” wrote Lacy, a social media influencer and Twitch streamer.

The boy Lacy claims to be Troy is seen in the video without a shirt, in neon green swim shorts and wearing what appears to be a black sweatshirt.

It was not immediately clear how the streamer identified the missing teenager in his video.

Troy Coleman, who is 6'4″ tall and weighs between 165 and 180 pounds, has blue eyes and brown hair.

The last time he was seen, he was wearing a black hoodie with gray sweatpants and white shoes, his father said.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Flint Township Police Department at 810-600-3250.
