Missing man last seen on city's West Side

CHICAGO — Authorities are asking for the public's help in the ongoing search for a man who police say has been missing for several days and may need medical attention.

Chicago police said a search is underway for Brandon Thompson, 39, who has been missing since Friday, June 28.


Police say the missing man was last seen in the 1800 block of South Central Park Avenue in the city's North Lawndale neighborhood wearing a white tank top.

Thompson, who has black hair and brown eyes, is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds.

A photo provided by Chicago police shows Thompson with a beard, but it is unclear whether he had one at the time of his disappearance.

Brandon Thompson, 39, has been missing since Friday, June 28, according to Chicago police.

Police said Thompson may need medical attention, but officers did not provide details on why.

Police informed the public of the man's disappearance in a press release issued Tuesday morning.
