Missing Indigenous woman last seen in Englewood in February

Sara Lemke was last seen on February 29 at 8 p.m. in the 3100 block of West Girard Avenue. Law enforcement is concerned for his safety.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) needs help locating a 21-year-old Native American woman who was last seen Feb. 29 in Englewood.

Sara Lemke was last seen in the 3100 block of West Girard Avenue at 8 p.m., CBI said. The missing indigenous person alert sent out by the CBI describes Lemke as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Lemke is affiliated with the Assiniboine and Fort Peck Sioux tribes, the CBI said.

The missing person alert also states that Lemke has “medical issues” that “require medication.”

If you have any information on Lemke's whereabouts or have seen Lemke, the CBI wants you to call 911 or Lakewood police at 303-987-7311.
