Missing Hanover man last seen on Christmas Eve 2023

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A Hanover County man last seen on Christmas Eve last year was reported missing Monday, with his family reportedly saying his “health may be deteriorating.”

In a June 5 press release, the Hanover County Sheriff's Office said Paul Stuart Fox was reported missing on June 3, 2023.

He was last seen in the Mechanicsville neighborhood of Hanover on December 24, 2023. The last reported contact with Fox was on March 1.

“The last time Fox saw his family on Christmas Eve, he mentioned that he had gone to Louisiana or Mexico for work,” the statement read.

Police added that Fox's family believes his “health may be deteriorating.”

Fox is described as a white man with red hair and blue eyes. According to the release, he is 5’8″ tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He is said to have a tattoo of the Tree of Life on his right shoulder blade, with the initials “TRF” and “MEF” on the trunk of the tree.

According to the release, Fox is known to drive a gray 2012 Honda Civic with Virginia tags TXE-5294.
