Missing Hamilton man, 83, known to frequent local bars

Hamilton police are asking for the public's help in safely locating a missing 83-year-old man and returning him home.

Police say Krzysztof Sroczynski was last seen yesterday around 3 p.m. near Limeridge Road East and Upper Ottawa Street in Hamilton.

Investigators describe Sroczynski as 6 feet tall and of heavy build. He has short, gray-brown hair. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, dark pants, a green or gray baseball cap and black boots.

Authorities say Sroczynski is known to frequent local bars and his family reports his cognitive abilities have declined recently, although he has not been officially diagnosed.

Police are asking residents on Limeridge Road East and Upper Ottawa Street to check their garages and outbuildings for Sroczynski.
