Missing Fiance of Teen Mom Amber Portwood Spotted in New Mexico, Cops Confirm

Mom Amber Portwood's missing fiancé has now been spotted in New Mexico after he was last seen in Oklahoma, and he is still considered a missing person, police have confirmed.

North Carolina police exclusively revealed to the US Sun that Amber's fiance Gary Wayt, 39, showed up in New Mexico after going missing on Sunday and was apparently traveling across the country .

“We have information that he was in New Mexico at one point,” the police statement said.

“Gary will remain a missing person until he contacts Bryson City Police or another law enforcement officer,” he concluded, before asking the public to contact them with any information.

As The US Sun first exclusively revealed, the Teen Mom star's new fiancé was with her at her brother's wedding in the remote North Carolina mountain when they got into an argument on Sunday.

The argument ended when Gary stormed out of the cabin around 6pm on Sunday evening, taking only the car keys and his wallet, and disappeared.

On Monday at 4 p.m., a distraught Amber called the local police to report her new boyfriend missing.

When he disappeared, the two men were far from their home in Indianapolis, Indiana.

“We know he is not in this area. We know he is driving his vehicle. We have confirmed he is in another state,” added the police source.

On Tuesday, Gary was spotted in Oklahoma, more than a 10-hour drive from North Carolina.

Police confirmed Gary showed up at a Verizon store in Oklahoma, but released little additional information earlier this week.

It's another 7.5 hour drive from Oklahoma to New Mexico.

The relatively new couple spent last weekend in Bryson City for brother Shawn Portwood's wedding to his longtime girlfriend, Rachel Williams.

In photos obtained exclusively by The US Sun, the couple appeared happy together and enjoying the June 6 celebration, before things escalated and an argument ensued on Sunday.
