Missing Fayetteville teen may have been kidnapped, Ashanti alert issued

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued an Ashanti Alert for a missing Fayetteville teen.

Tierstan Cochran, 18, was last seen on Birchwood Way. According to the Center for Missing Persons, “there is evidence of physical endangerment, kidnapping, or abduction.”

The Fayetteville Police Department, which reported the teen missing, said Cochran was believed to be with three suspects traveling north, possibly to Tennessee, in a gray SUV.

The suspects are described by police as a white male, approximately 5'10″ tall, weighing 150 pounds and wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants. a black man approximately 5'10″ and weighing 150 pounds with dreads wearing blue shorts and a red jacket with a smiling face; and a white woman approximately 5'4″ and weighing approximately 140 pounds who is not wearing a shoes.
