Missing Colleton County monkey identified as 15-year-old Japanese macaque

(WCIV) — New information has been released regarding the search for a missing monkey in Colleton County.

Colleton County Animal Services identified the monkey as Bradley, a 15-year-old Japanese macaque. He has lived in housing in Walterboro for almost six years.

According to animal services, Bradley escaped from his habitat on May 23. As of May 26, he remains at large in the Walterboro area.

Anyone seeing Bradley is asked to keep their distance and call 843-898-6113.
