Miss Texas County Teen will compete in Mexico, Missouri.

Teenagers from across the state of Missouri, their pageant directors and their families will travel to the heart of Missouri on June 10 to kick off a week filled with rehearsals, talent performances, interviews and evening gowns at the Missouri Military Academy in Mexico, Missouri, as Miss Missouri's Teen enters her 19th year.

The Miss Missouri Teen Class of 2024 includes Teen Brylee Welch from Miss Texas County. She is the daughter of Bryan and Megan Welch of Nixa and is a student at Nixa High School. As a member of the Sash competition group, she will have a private interview with the judges on Tuesday afternoon; a stage question and evening gown in the preliminary competition on Thursday evening and will compete in fitness on Thursday in the second group. During Wednesday's preliminary competition, she will perform a jazz dance to highlight her talent.

His title covers the Houston area. Since being crowned this winter, she has participated in a variety of service projects and appearances across the state, primarily focusing on her service initiative, which is “Care In Action.” Through this initiative, she focused on encouraging youth and teens to volunteer in various areas for their communities.

The competition week will begin with a kickoff brunch on Monday, during which contestants will be recognized for their various service projects and accomplishments. Throughout the week, teens will participate in a wide variety of activities, ending Saturday afternoon with a meet-and-greet in downtown Mexico.

The preliminary competition begins on Tuesday June 11 and will continue until Thursday June 13. The organization will crown the new Miss Missouri's Teen on Friday evening, June 14. After being crowned by the reigning Miss Missouri Teen Gracyn Rouse, the new Miss Missouri's Teen will immediately begin preparations to compete on the national stage.

The Miss Missouri Scholarship Organization is one of the largest providers of scholarships for young women in the state. This year, the organization will award $85,000 in scholarships between the Miss and Outstanding Teen programs.
