Miss Teen South Carolina 2024, Mary Elle Marchant, crowned

Marchant is a Lexington native and 18-year-old recent graduate of River Bluff High School. Performing a musical theater dance to “I Hope I Get It” from “A Chorus Line to Life,” Marchant was a preliminary winner in the Teen Evening Gown and Teen Talent categories.

Miss South Carolina's Teen 2024 received a $12,500 savings bond and will compete for the title of Miss America's Outstanding Teen.

The Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization also named four additional delegates as finalists for the Miss South Carolina 2024 pageant:

• First runner-up: Tess Ferm, Miss Daniel Island's Teen.

• Second runner-up: Miss Columbia Teen, Le'Daviah Terry

• Third runner-up: teenager Madison Harbin from Miss Greer High School

• Fourth runner-up: Miss Greater Greer's Teen, LilyKate Barbare

The Miss South Carolina 2024 pageant will continue later tonight, June 29, with the Miss South Carolina finale night. The competition will air live on WACH Fox TV beginning at 8 p.m. and culminate with the crowning of Miss South Carolina 2024.

Miss South Carolina 2023 will receive a $60,000 scholarship and compete for the title of Miss America.
