Michigan woman and her 9-year-old son missing after previous domestic violence report

(CBS DETROIT) – Authorities are searching for a Michigan woman and her 9-year-old son after they were reported missing following a previous domestic violence complaint that state police investigated.

On May 20, officers responded to a report of domestic violence involving Brittany Parker and her boyfriend in Vevay Township, Ingham County.

Brittany Parker and her 9-year-old son Andre were reported missing days after Michigan State Police responded to a domestic violence call involving Parker and her boyfriend.

Authorities made no arrests at the time of this incident.

A few days later, family members reported Parker and her 9-year-old son, Andre, missing, according to state police.

The Ingham County Sheriff's Office is investigating, but state police are assisting as they responded to the initial domestic violence call.
