Miami gym altercation leads to stabbing incident

Two elderly men was injured following a fight LA Fitness located at 14100 SW 8th St In Miami. The altercation reportedly began over a locker in the men's restroom.

Miami-Dade Police said the conflict began with a verbal argument and escalated when one man stabbed the other. In retaliation, the stabbed individual hit the attacker with a chair.

The two men were transported to Kendall Regional Medical Center for treatment due to the severity of their injuries. The man who was stabbed is said to be in stable condition.

Currently, the two individuals are in police custody while the investigation continues to discover the reasons for the attack.

Despite the seriousness of the incident, the gym remained open, causing concern among regulars.
