Megan Thee Stallion Responds to Alleged NSFW Leak

In the middle of herHot Girls Summer Tour“, Megan Thee Stallion has faced some unwanted challenges off stage. On Saturday (June 8), the “Girls in the Hood” rapper was embroiled in controversy over an alleged sex tape, which many assumed was generated by the 'AI.

THE Grammy Award Winner The artist took to Twitter the same day to seemingly respond to the malicious attempt to tarnish her reputation. “It’s really crazy how you do everything in your power to hurt me when you see me winning,” she wrote. “You are all going too far. Fake shit. Just know (that) today was your last day playing with me, and I mean it.

At the time of writing, the origins of the alleged deepfake video remain unclear. However, the Houston native's response strengthened her resolve to not let the misrepresentations and cyberbullying break her spirit. As a result, #WeLoveYouMegan started trending on social media shortly after the PSA was released.

“You’re all crazy and weird. (You) didn't find any real dirt on Megan Thee Stallion, (so) you all created deepfakes and tried to spread them as real leaks. Like every day you prove more and more that Megan is really that bitch,” someone said on Twitter. Another person commented: “It's always about protecting black women until it comes to Megan. You are mistreating and disrespecting her WAY TOO MUCH, and it's honestly very disgusting.

It's also worth mentioning that Megan took the stage at the Amalie Arena last night in Tampa, Florida. In pictures shared online, the rapper could be seen holding back tears during her performance of “Cobra” as fans cheered her on.

His third studio album, MEGANEis set to hit streaming services on June 28. In addition to the aforementioned record, the project will feature singles like “BOA” and “HISS,” the latter of which landed at No. 1 on the chart. Billboard Hot 100.
