Mdma: three people arrested for trafficking MDMA, including two abandonments | Hyderabad News

Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Special Operations Team (SOT) on Tuesday arrested three persons, including two deserters for trafficking MDMA. Detectives seized 26 grams of MDMA from the defendant. Rachakonda Police Commissioner Tarun Joshi said they arrested two hawkers – A Bharat Reddy, 21, and C Wickyath, 19 – and a consumer, T Hemanth Kumar. Peddlers realized they could make quick money selling drugs. Using their sources in Bangalore, they procured MDMA at around $1,200 per gram and sold it to their customers at $5,000 per gram. CP Joshi said Bharat Reddy dropped out of studies after he started using drugs. Cops said he was wanted in two cases in Hayathnagar and Abdullapurmet. He has been involved in drug trafficking since 2019. tnn
