MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KBSI) – McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies are warning the public about two scams appearing in the county.

A McCracken County business received a document indicating a legitimate lien existed from the State of Kentucky in 2018, for an extremely small amount of money.

Deputies say the scammers (supposedly in Kennewick, Washington) got their hands on legitimate (but old and inactive) documents to create the scam.
