Massachusetts grand jury indicts alleged operators of high-end brothel ring in Greater Boston, Virginia

Three people at the center of a commercial sex ring that catered to “a wealthy, well-connected clientele” near Boston, Massachusetts and Eastern Virginia are seeking plea deals, federal authorities revealed.

In a press release, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Massachusetts said Han “Hana” Lee, 41, of Cambridge, Massachusetts; James Lee, 68, of Torrance, California, and Junmyung Lee, 30, of Dedham, Massachusetts, are all accused of running a “sophisticated” commercial sex ring.

Authorities revealed that the trio conducted their sordid affairs in Watertown and Cambridge, Massachusetts and Virginia.

Their high-value sex businesses had buyers paying up to $600 an hour for a wide range of sex acts.

According to court documents, the websites claimed to advertise nude models for professional photography but were actually offering appointments with sex workers.

“Men paid for sex with women advertised on the Boston Top Ten website at several high-end apartments…in Cambridge and Watertown, at least four of which were active through November 8, 2023,” a copy of the indictment.

TWO POLICE OFFICERS, INCLUDING NYPD, were shot and a suspect killed as they exchanged gunfire at the New Jersey hotel.

The indictment said Han “maintained and updated” the website with photos of the sex workers.

“The websites, which served as free advertising for sex workers traveling to Massachusetts and Virginia to engage in the sex trade, were generally maintained and updated by HAN who had access to the women's photographs,” the website states. 'indictment.

The trio also maintained a “menu” from which buyers could choose the sexual companions they were interested in.

According to court documents, each website described a verification process that interested sex buyers undertook to be eligible to schedule an appointment, including requiring customers to fill out a form providing their full name, email address and email, their telephone number, their employer and their reference if they had one.

This thorough process would have helped convince high-end clients, ensuring they were not law enforcement or men posing a risk to the safety and security of sex workers.

The group also allegedly hid income from their prostitution ring by depositing hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash into their personal bank accounts and making peer-to-peer transfers, the attorney's office said.

Three people previously arrested and indicted in November 2023 for operating sophisticated high-end brothels in greater Boston and eastern Virginia have been indicted by a federal grand jury in Boston, Massachusetts.

All three were indicted by a federal grand jury on one count of conspiracy to persuade, induce, induce and coerce one or more individuals to travel in interstate or foreign commerce to engage in prostitution; and one count of money laundering conspiracy.

The three accused were arraigned in person on February 6.

Since then, the attorney has “produced findings on March 5 and May 30, 2024” from electronic devices.

“The parties have engaged in plea discussions,” U.S. Magistrate Judge David Hennessy wrote in a report filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Boston.
