Mass shooting at US water park

At least ten people, including children, were shot and injured at a municipal water park near Detroit, United States, according to police.

The suspect was still at large Saturday evening, but police said they believed he was trapped in a nearby home.

Police described the incident as a random shooting and a weapon was found at the scene.

“It’s obviously a gut punch for us here in Oakland County,” Bouchard said. “We've been through so much tragedy, you know. We don't even fully understand what happened at Oxford.”

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer said on X: “I am heartbroken to learn of the shootings in Rochester Hills.”
