A Marshalltown man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting outside the Center Street station early Saturday morning and is considered armed and dangerous.

At 1:20 a.m. Saturday, first responders were dispatched to the Center Street Station bar, located at 19 N. Center St., after receiving a 911 call about a shooting there, according to a police department news release from Marshalltown. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male later identified as Ramon Alexis Feliciano Nieves, 41, of Marshalltown, suffering from a gunshot wound. First responders provided emergency medical treatment on scene, and the victim was transported to a medical facility where he later died.

MPD is asking for the public's help in locating Victor Antonio Delgadillo, 18, of Marshalltown, wanted on criminal charges of first-degree murder and first-degree harassment. Delgadillo was previously arrested in April 2024 for possession of a stolen firearm.

“Delgadillo would be armed and dangerous. If you have any information on Mr. Delgadillo's whereabouts, do not approach him. Call 911,” the statement said.
