Marshalltown man charged with murder in fatal bar shooting

FUTURE. Very good, TREY, THANK YOU. We have new information on a shooting that left a man dead in Marshalltown. AS POLICE CONTINUE THEIR INVESTIGATION, FIRST RESPONDERS FROM THE STATION WERE SENT TO THE CENTER STREET STATION BAR AROUND 120 THIS MORNING. The man was treated at the scene and transported to hospital, where he later died. CHIEF MICHAEL TUPPER SAYS THE SCENE WAS CHAOTIC WHEN THE OFFICERS ARRIVED FOR THE FIRST PART. Bar was just letting it out. There were a lot of people leaving the bar and, of course, every time something like that happens it attracts more people. Our officers therefore had their hands full when they arrived. We are still investigating what happened. Um, part of the crime is on video, which is helpful for us. RIGHT AWAY. NO ARRESTS WERE MADE. POLICE BELIEVE IT WAS A TARGETED ATTACK.

An argument began and Delgadillo pushed two people, according to the complaint. Delgadillo then displayed a gun, according to court documents, and fired several shots at Ramon Alexis Feliciano Nieves, 41. Nieves died from his injuries. Delgadillo is charged with first-degree murder. In a criminal complaint, authorities say Victor Delgadillo, 18, of Marshalltown, is believed to be responsible for Saturday's shooting at the Center Street Station Bar that left one man dead. Police believe he is armed and dangerous.
