Married At First Sight Australia's Christopher Mark Jensen pleads guilty to drug trafficking

Australian Married At First Sight star Christopher Mark Jensen has pleaded guilty to drug trafficking charges.

The star appeared in the eighth season of the reality show in 2021, where he was paired with Jaimie Gardner.

Jensen was given a four-year suspended sentence in the Queensland Supreme Court after pleading guilty to four charges, including two counts of supplying a dangerous drug and one count of trafficking a dangerous drug.

It comes after the reality TV star was arrested in October 2017 during a Queensland Police operation targeting drug trafficking, with police finding cannabis at his home and a large sum of cash.

Judge Paul Freeburn said when sentencing Jensen (via Australian Associated Press): “I would normally impose a prison sentence for this type of serious offense (but) in my view this is a case exceptional. »

In other Married at First Sight news, 2022 couple Olivia Frazer and Jackson Lonie recently announced their split after 10 months together.
