Man wanted in connection with series of alleged burglaries arrested in Orange County

A 37-year-old man suspected of being responsible for a series of residential burglaries was arrested Tuesday, authorities said.

Authorities with the Irvine Police Department said Monrovia resident Marcus Allen Corner was arrested this afternoon on suspicion of committing burglaries.

Police say the 37-year-old man was caught on surveillance cameras on the city's west side carrying a bag of food, making him appear to be a food delivery driver, as he robbed houses.

“Detectives are working with several other agencies to determine if Corner is responsible for the burglaries in their areas,” police said in a message posted to X, formerly Twitter.

The Monrovia resident was booked into the Orange County Jail on multiple charges with bond enhancements.
