NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is searching for a man accused of shooting into a crowd near the French Quarter, injuring three people.

On Thursday, May 23 around 2 p.m., three men were shot during a fight in the 800 block of Canal Street.

“They are all in stable condition at the moment. Nobody is criticizing. We are reviewing the footage of what happened. It appears there was an altercation and then shots rang out,” said Captain Hans Gauthier of the NOPD.

The men were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
