Man taken to hospital following crash on I-43 involving jack-knifing tractor-trailer

A man was taken to the hospital following a crash involving an SUV and a tractor-trailer that ultimately jackknifed near the Holt Avenue on-ramp on I-43 South, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office. This happened around 5:45 p.m. June 8, according to the sheriff's office. Two lanes were blocked due to the accident. The man driving the tractor-trailer was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the SUV was not injured and refused medical treatment at the scene, according to the sheriff's office. The sheriff's office said the tractor-trailer was transporting toilet paper. WISN 12 News was at the scene of the accident and also saw that the tractor-trailer was transporting Bounty products. The sheriff's office said it is still investigating the crash. The lanes are still closed at 7:30 p.m.
