Man stabbed Saturday morning near Knightdale

KNIGHTDALE, North Carolina — A man is in the hospital Saturday after being stabbed Saturday in Wake County.

According to the Wake County Sheriff's Office, deputies received a call in reference to a stabbing around 11:40 a.m. in the 1200 block of Moores Creek Drive near Knightdale.

When they arrived, they found a man with a knife wound. Emergency medical services transferred the man to a local hospital.

The condition of his injuries is currently unknown.

Police are currently investigating the crime scene and the circumstances leading to the attack.

According to the sheriff's office, there is no threat to the community and the stabbing was an isolated incident.
