Man stabbed outside Clinton Hill migrant shelter

A man was stabbed twice in the chest outside a Clinton Hill migrant shelter, police say. According to them, the victim is in critical but stable condition.

The New York Police Department says the incident took place shortly after noon. A man is currently in police custody. They say the stabbing occurred following a verbal argument between the victim, a 20-year-old man, and the suspect.

The attack took place at the intersection of Hall Street and Flushing Avenue, outside a migrant shelter. Police tell News 12 the man in custody lives at the shelter and the verbal argument was over a moped.

The relationship between the victim and suspect is unknown at this time.
