Man stabbed in Marshallton Saturday morning – First state update

Just before 7:15 a.m. Saturday morning, emergency services from the Mill Creek Fire Company, along with paramedics and New Castle County police, responded to the Marshallton and Green development site near Capital Trail, following reports of a stabbing.

When first responders arrived, they discovered a man in his forties suffering from multiple lacerations. The victim was inside a vehicle, found some distance from the initial scene of the incident, according to sources close to the case. Details about how he ended up in the vehicle or the circumstances surrounding the altercation remain unclear.

The injured man received first aid at the scene before being transported to the local trauma center. His current health status has not been disclosed.
