Man stabbed in Lincoln Park home invasion, police say

CHICAGO — A man was injured Thursday when someone entered his North Side home and stabbed him multiple times.

Police said the 26-year-old man was at his home in the 2000 block of North Clifton in the Lincoln Park neighborhood around 11:30 p.m. when someone broke into the residence.

The man was stabbed several times by a man who then fled.

The man was then taken into custody.

The injured man was taken to hospital and police said he was in fair condition.

Charges are pending.
