Authorities said the stabbing happened last Thursday in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive.

Police said the victim reported being stabbed in the left arm, which was then wrapped in a T-shirt to cover a deep wound.

Police said they later found the suspect, a 27-year-old woman.

Both the suspect and victim said they were visiting each other when an argument broke out, authorities said.

Police said the argument became physical and the suspect grabbed a kitchen knife and cut the victim in the arm.

Officers said it was not a domestic dispute.

Authorities said they had filed charges against the suspect.

Patch is not releasing the defendant's name because online court records do not yet contain any official criminal charges against her.
