Delanie Laforge, 32, was charged with assault with a weapon, driving while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a Facebook post from the Billings Police Department. She was booked into the Yellowstone County Detention Center.

The victim was transported to Billings Hospital for treatment. His injuries were described by police as not life-threatening.

Around 2:45 p.m. Sunday, the man was stabbed in the parking lot of the Billings casino. He was able to enter the small gaming property and alert an employee of his injuries.

He also described the suspect and his car. Police found the suspect a short time later at a nearby Econo Lodge motel.

Two other individuals were also arrested, according to police. It is unclear whether they will be charged.

Police have not revealed why the man was stabbed.

Officers watched surveillance video of the stabbing before making the arrest.

$200,000 seized in gambling raid

A gambling raid in Kettering, Ohio, on Thursday led authorities to locate more than $200,000 and several slot machines.

The searches took place at an internet cafe in Kettering and a residence in West Carrollton, Ohio.

An unnamed suspect has been arrested. That person was charged with operating a gambling house, possessing criminal tools and engaging in corrupt activity, according to Ohio television station WDTN.

The court-ordered searches came after an investigation by the Kettering Police Department in which undercover officers played on the scene.

Police have opened an investigation into possible illegal gambling and money laundering on these sites.

The investigation lasted six months before the searches.

Florida convenience store raided

The 207 Express convenience store, located in Hastings, Florida, was raided Friday on suspicion of illegal gambling.

Deputies with the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office searched the Florida convenience store for gambling activity and evidence related to illegal drugs, according to Jacksonville, Florida television station WJXT.

It was unclear whether any incriminating evidence was discovered during the court-ordered search.

The convenience store was reopened after police completed the search.

It is unclear whether any arrests were made following the search.

“While this search warrant is somewhat narrow and perhaps focused on narcotics and gambling in this location, it is not surprising that the narcotics portion is accompanied by violence,” reported Tom Hackney, WJXT analyst and former law enforcement officer.
