Man shot and killed in Garden Grove, no suspects identified

A man was found dead on a Garden Grove sidewalk Saturday, police confirmed.

At approximately 4:17 a.m., police received a report of an unconscious person lying on a sidewalk in the 12600 block of Westminster Avenue. Upon arrival, Garden Grove Police Department officers found a man dead from a gunshot wound.

The man has not yet been publicly identified, pending notification of his next of kin.

Suspect dead after chase and standoff on Orange County highway

Police said no suspect information was available Saturday afternoon.
