Flight

A victim of theft – from a motor vehicle in the village of Karanda VI was reported on 02/06/2024. The total estimated loss was $150.

A victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto on W Atlantic Blvd was reported on 05/28/2024.

A victim of vehicle theft – Motorcycle in Banyan Pointe on Wiles Road was reported on 05/31/2024

A victim of Vehicle Theft – Auto in Regency Lakes on Pelican Street was reported on 02/06/2024.

Victim of vehicle theft – Auto at Coconut Palm Club on NW 55 Blvd on 06/02/2024.

Harassment

A victim of electronic harassment at Banyan Trails on Banyan Trails Drive was reported on 05/28/2024.

Battery/Child Abuse

Police Assistance – Another agency in Bell Coconut Creek on W Hillsboro Blvd was reported on 05/28/2024. Allegations of child battery occurring at Summit Academy Charter School in Coral Springs.

Fraud

JK Closing was a victim of fraud – Worthless check/obtaining property on Wiles Road was reported on 05/30/2024. The total estimated loss was $4,900.

A victim of Wire/Computer fraud at Baywood Village II on NW 22 Street was reported on 05/30/2024. The total estimated loss was $500.

Threat assessment

The Threat Assessment Report for Lyons Creek Middle on Sol Press Blvd was released on 05/31/2024. A disturbing video of a student on Instagram has been reported.

Assault

A victim of aggravated assault on Banks Road was reported on 05/31/2024. A resident got into an altercation with two members of the lawn crew; both parties accused the other of pulling out a weapon. No witnesses, no videos, no evidence, no arrests have been made.

Burglary

Dunkin Donuts was the victim of a burglary – A business on Coconut Creek Parkway was reported on 01/06/2024. The total estimated loss was $1,050.

Person insulted

Wounded in Lucaya Bend, a 75-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the thigh while cleaning his gun, it was reported 06/01/2024.

Arrests

Ojeda, Victor Emmanuel, 24, was arrested for resisting/obstructing without violence at 4400 Wiles Road on 05/28/2024.

Cruz, Tatiana Ariella, 21, was arrested for vehicular homicide at 4200 Lyons Road on 05/29/2024.

Cagle, Christopher, 64, was arrested for child abuse without serious harm at 5050 Wiles Road on 05/30/2024.

Prince, Cassi, 47, was arrested on charges of touching or striking/battery/domestic violence on 05/30/2024.

Poveda, Alejandro, 54, was arrested on charges of allowing underage alcohol/drugs at an open house party at 5022 Heron Court on 05/31/2024.

Carter, Antonio Breon, 45, was arrested on 06/01/2024 for Burglary (Dwelling) at 5340 NW 55 Blvd.

Ellis, Sinclair Jamaal, 43, was arrested on charges of touching or hitting/battery/dating violence at 5340 NW 55 Blvd on 06/01/2024.

Adams, Dakota Cole, 32, was arrested on a charge of battery/simple battery on an officer or firefighter on 02/06/2024.
