Man sentenced to 14 years in prison for robbery linked to Maine murder

A 38-year-old man will serve eight years in prison for robbery linked to a fatal shooting in Lewiston in 2022.

Sentenced to 14 years in prison with six years suspended

Andrew Stallings of Rumford was sentenced Thursday to 14 years in prison with six years suspended. He pleaded guilty after a plea deal and had his charges reduced to two counts of grand larceny.

Originally charged with complicity to murder

Stallings initially faced charges of complicity in a fatal shooting on River Street in Lewiston, where Nichols Blake, 37, was found shot to death in 2022.

Police reported to robbery call in 2022

Officers were investigating a robbery when they found Blake, WGME News said.

Co-defendant faces murder charge

The co-defendant in the case, Barry Zollarcoffer, 49, of Lewiston, faces a murder charge.
