Man remains in critical condition two days after Charlton stabbing

A man remains in a critical condition two days after being stabbed at a residential address in Charlton.

Police were called to a residential address on Kashmir Road at around 9am on Saturday May 25 to reports of a stabbing.

A man in his 40s was taken to hospital.

Police confirmed today (Monday) that his condition remains critical.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody at a south London police station.

Investigations into this circumstance continue.

Witnesses are asked to call police on 101, ref 2087/25MAY24.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “A man remains in a critical condition in hospital.

“The arrested person remains in custody.”
