Man missing in West Islip, Silver alert issued: police

WEST ISLIP, N.Y. — Suffolk County police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing 94-year-old West Islip man who is hard of hearing, police said.

Robert Lynch has not been seen or heard from since 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, when he left his Edgewood Road home in his gray 2004 Cadillac Seville (NY plate CHZ 5488) to go shopping at Costco in Commack, A. the police said.

Police say the last known location of Lynch's vehicle was on Pine Aire Drive in Bay Shore around 1:10 p.m.

He is 5 feet 8 inches tall, 150 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on his last known whereabouts can call 911 or Third Squad detectives at 631-854-8352.
