Man missing from South Side home may need medical attention

CHICAGO — Authorities are asking for help searching for a man missing from his home on the city's South Side.

According to Chicago Police, Gregory Jones, 55, who was last seen shortly after midnight on Wednesday, June 5, is missing from the 10600 block of South Langley Avenue in Pullman.


Officers say Jones, who suffers from severe intellectual disabilities, schizophrenia and kidney problems, may need medical attention.

Jones, who is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds, has gray hair and brown eyes.

Police said the missing man was last seen wearing a green T-shirt with gray or silver pants.

Gregory Jones, 55, was last seen shortly after midnight on Wednesday, June 5, near the 10600 block of South Langley Avenue in Pullman.

A photo provided by police shows Jones wearing a pair of black-rimmed glasses, but it is unclear if he was wearing them at the time of his disappearance.

Officers informed the public of the missing man in a news release issued Friday.
