Man in critical condition after stabbing in Cheektowaga

According to the report, the man was stabbed in the neck during a fight at the M Hotel, 2040 Walden Ave., Cheektowaga. Officers arrived on scene following a call at 10:45 p.m. and administered life-saving measures before the man was transported by ambulance to ECMC.

Police arrested Zachary Turner, 28, of Blasdell, and charged him with first-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned before Cheektowaga Town Judge John J. Wanat and remanded to the Erie County Detention Center.
