Man in critical condition after stabbing in Charlton

A man is in a critical condition after being stabbed in Charlton.

Police were called to Kashmir Road at around 9am this morning (Saturday May 25) to reports of a stabbing.

A man in his 40s was taken to hospital where his condition was deemed critical but stable.

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing to determine what happened.

Witnesses are asked to call police on 101, ref 2087/25MAY24.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called shortly before 9am on Saturday May 25 to a man stabbed on Kashmir Road, SE7.

“Officers were present with LAS.

“A man, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital.

“His condition was deemed critical but stable.

“Investigations are underway to establish the circumstances. There were no arrests.

“Local people will see additional officers in the area.

“Any witnesses are asked to call police on 101, ref 2087/25MAY24.
