Man faces more than 100 charges after drug-induced shooting in Henderson

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man faces more than 100 charges after Henderson police say he fired guns “numerous times” in the South Valley while under arrest. the influence of drugs.

On Friday, June 14 at approximately 8:45 p.m., Henderson Police and Fire were called to a condominium complex located in the 2200 block of West Horizon Ridge Parkway for reports of multiple gunshots.


The sources also reported the presence of a “bloodied man” lying on the ground near one of the buildings, police said.

Police said the investigation revealed the man was suffering from a drug-induced episode, which led him to fire “numerous” rounds from his weapons.

No injuries were reported, but property damage to nearby residences was the result of the shooting.

Henderson police took the suspect, identified as Joseph Ebner, 45, to the Henderson Detention Center. He is being held on $100,000 bail.

Ebner faces the following charges:

  • 112 counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied structure
  • 2 counts of discharging a weapon while a person is in danger
  • 1 count of person prohibited from possessing/possessing a firearm
