Man dies in Harrison County motorcycle crash; Crash victim identified – Jordan Miller News

An Ohio man has died in a motorcycle crash along U.S. 22, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The incident, a single-vehicle crash, occurred in Cadiz Township, Harrison County, near mile marker 14.

Robert Hettick, a 59-year-old Freeport resident, was identified as the victim. Riding a 2023 Harley-Davidson Pan American motorcycle, Hettick was heading west on U.S. 22 when he failed to make a left turn. Police say he veered off the right side of the road and collided with a guardrail. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash. Assisting authorities were the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, Cadiz Fire Department, Hopedale EMS and ODOT.
