Man dies after stabbing in Southeast Washington

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) says a man has died after being stabbed in Southeast DC.

Police said that on June 22 around 8:08 p.m., they went to the 3500 block of East Capitol St for a report of an assault.

When police arrived on scene, they found a man who had been stabbed multiple times.

The man died instantly.
