Man charged with murder of another man at Phoenix bus stop

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man was arrested for shooting and killing another man after an argument near a bus stop, Phoenix police said.

The suspect, 31-year-old Arbron Mehaj, faces homicide charges in the death of 49-year-old Nathan Page.

On Friday around 11:30 p.m., Phoenix police were called to a shooting near Tatum Boulevard and Union Hills Drive.

Officers arrived and found a man, later identified as Page, who had been shot near a bus stop. Officers attempted to save Page, but he died instantly.

Police say officers spoke with witnesses and viewed surveillance video from a convenience store, which led them to a suspect who may have lived nearby.

Detectives were able to follow leads and identify Mehaj as the suspect.
