Man charged in gun incident

Authorities have filed new charges against Marcus Perry, the man prosecutors accuse of drawing a gun during a funeral service. He faces charges of disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon, stemming from an incident over the weekend. At a service held Saturday at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, police reported a fight broke out. According to a criminal complaint, witnesses said Perry was in possession of a gun. Surveillance footage from the scene allegedly shows Perry pulling a silver handgun and pointing it in the air. Despite the weapon being brandished, police confirmed that no shots were fired during the altercation.
