Man arrested, one hospitalized for Vista stabbing – San Diego Union-Tribune

A man was stabbed multiple times in the back after fighting with another man in Vista early Thursday, a sheriff's official said.

Officers responded to Vista Village Drive near Camino Patricia shortly after 3 a.m. The two men had gotten into an argument and while they were fighting, the victim was stabbed multiple times in the back, sheriff's Lt. Patrick Fox said.

The victim was taken to the hospital by paramedics and is expected to survive, a sheriff's spokesperson said.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault with a weapon.
